Hi! My name is ... Kimberlee

I am a ... Family Leadership Coach
Welcome! I’m Kimberlee Wilkes, a mother of five, former high school teacher, and certified family leadership coach passionate about helping parents build thriving, connected families. My journey has been shaped by life’s challenges and triumphs—from moving across states to embracing homeschooling and navigating my son’s autism diagnosis. Most profoundly, the devastating loss of my 5-year-old son in 2021 taught me a life-changing truth: presence is the greatest gift we can give our loved ones, and connection is essential for a flourishing family.
As a Maxwell Leadership certified coach and DISC Consultant, I combine personal insight with professional expertise to help parents transform their family dynamics. I specialize in equipping parents with intentional leadership skills, effective communication strategies, and practical mind management techniques. My approach is grounded in the belief that all behavior is communication and that even the smallest moments can lead to meaningful and lasting change.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, I’m here to support you in leading your family with clarity, love, and confidence. Through coaching, workshops, and ongoing support, my mission is to provide practical tools and compassionate guidance to help you create harmony and connection at home. When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me spending time at amusement parks with my family, crocheting cozy creations, or running to clear my mind. Above all, I believe family is where we belong, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey to leading with intention and love.
How does your coaching process work?

My coaching process begins with understanding where you are right now and the specific challenges you’re facing within your family. We then work together to set clear, achievable goals for the changes you want to see. My approach is personalized—each session is tailored to address your unique needs, and we focus on practical, actionable steps that can be integrated into your daily life. Throughout the process, I provide consistent guidance, accountability, and support, ensuring that you’re making progress at a pace that feels right for you. It’s not just about quick fixes; it’s about creating lasting transformation through intentional, consistent actions

What makes your coaching style unique and effective?

My coaching style is rooted in empathy, personal experience, and proven leadership principles. I understand how difficult it can be to feel disconnected from your family because I’ve been there myself. That’s why I prioritize creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can be open and honest about your struggles. I combine this personal touch with the structured, effective tools of leadership coaching, drawing from my training as a Maxwell Leadership certified coach and DISC consultant. This blend of empathy and expertise allows me to offer practical, real-world strategies that busy parents can implement right away, making the process effective and sustainable.

Who is an ideal candidate for your coaching services?

My coaching services are ideal for parents who want more than just surface-level solutions. If you’re committed to fostering deeper connections with your kids, ready to lead your family with intention, and willing to work on yourself to bring about change, then my coaching is for you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling with communication, or simply want to be more present and engaged, I help parents who are ready to make intentional, lasting improvements in their family dynamics.

What kind of transformation can a client expect from your coaching?

When you work with me, you can expect to see a shift not just in your family dynamics, but also in how you perceive and approach parenting. Clients often tell me they feel more in control, confident, and connected after going through the coaching process. You’ll learn to communicate more effectively, handle conflicts with clarity, and build an environment where everyone feels heard and respected. Most importantly, you’ll rediscover the joy of being present with your family, experiencing a deeper sense of connection and fulfillment as you lead with purpose.

Why should someone unsure about coaching decide to work with you?

I understand that deciding to work with a coach can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve tried other methods before without much success. What sets my approach apart is that it’s not about following a script or using one-size-fits-all solutions. I take the time to get to know you and your family’s unique needs, and I offer practical, actionable guidance that makes a real difference. My coaching is about creating lasting, meaningful change, not just quick fixes. If you’re looking for a personalized approach and ongoing support that keeps you accountable, then I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Why is leadership so important when it comes to families?

Leadership is at the heart of a thriving family. As parents, we set the tone for how our family communicates, resolves conflicts, and supports one another. When you step into a leadership role, you model the behaviors, values, and attitudes you want to see in your children. This isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being intentional. When you lead with clarity, empathy, and consistency, your family follows suit, and this creates a strong, supportive foundation where everyone feels valued and understood. Effective family leadership brings calm, balance, and connection, making it easier to navigate the challenges of parenting.
